Before You Apply

Who can apply to St. Teresa High School?

Do I have to be Catholic to attend?

What is the admissions process?

Applying is simple:

• Schedule a campus visit or request information.
• Complete the online application.

• Incoming freshmen complete the High School Placement Test (HSPT).

Is there an entrance exam?

What sports are available?

St. Teresa offers a wide variety of IHSA athletic opportunities for both boys and girls, along with opportunities to develop leadership, teamwork, and school spirit.

What clubs and activities are available?

Students can participate in numerous clubs, academic organizations, fine arts programs, service opportunities, leadership groups, and student activities. There is something for nearly every interest.

Is there a dress code?

Yes. Students follow a school dress code designed to promote a positive learning environment while allowing opportunities for school spirit and designated dress-down days throughout the year.

Faith & Community

Will I take theology classes if I'm not Catholic?

Yes. All students take theology courses as part of the curriculum. These classes explore the Catholic faith while encouraging thoughtful discussion, respect for others, and personal growth.

How do students grow in their faith?

Students participate in prayer, Mass, retreats, service opportunities, and campus ministry throughout the school year. These experiences help students develop leadership, compassion, and a deeper understanding of their faith.
